Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Resolve account. Once enabled for your organization, all users will be required to verify their identity with a 6-digit code when signing in.

Two-factor authentication applies to all Resolve products, including the Web Dashboard, Desktop Companion App, and Quest App.

How to Enable 2FA

Once 2FA has been enabled for your organization, follow the steps below to set it up for your account:

  1. You’ll be prompted to scan a QR code using your preferred authenticator app (for example, Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).

  2. After scanning the QR code, enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app to complete setup.

Once set up, each time you log out and back into your account, you’ll be prompted to enter a new authentication code.

In the Resolve Quest App

Note:
If you log in to the Quest app by using a pair code through your Resolve dashboard, you will not be prompted for another authentication code.

If you log in directly with your email and password:

  1. Open the Resolve Quest app.

  2. Enter your email and password.

  3. When prompted, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

  4. You’ll then be redirected to the project selection screen.
