Moving Around a Model in Resolve Field

How to walk, look around, and fly through a model using joysticks and touch gestures.

Written by Beau Parker

When a model first opens, you'll see the full-size minimap. Close it to start moving around with the controls below. You can get around using the on-screen joysticks, touch gestures, or both.

Joysticks and buttons

  • Move (left joystick): Push it to walk forward, backward, and side to side.

  • Look (right joystick): Push it to turn and look up or down.

  • Up and down arrows: Raise or lower your position. Use these to reach upper floors, get up to ceiling equipment, or drop back down to the ground.

  • Back arrow: Tap it in the top left to close the model and go back to your model list.

Touch gestures

You can also move by touching the model directly:

  • Pinch open to fly forward.

  • Pinch close to fly backward.

  • Drag with two fingers to slide left, right, up, or down without turning.

Gestures are handy for small adjustments, like lining yourself up with a wall or getting closer to a piece of equipment.
