Views let you 'bookmark' certain spots in a model so you can easily return to them later. They allow you to easily save various locations you may want to review with your team, and they can be a useful tool for helping structure VR review meetings. They are also saved to the mini-map.
Creating a view
Open the Resolve menu in VR and click "Create."
Click the "Create View" button.
Move to a spot in your model that you would like to bookmark.
Click the "Save Current Location To Views" button.
Name that specific view. You can submit the default name that auto-populates, or you can edit it with the keyboard that appears. Click "Save View" once you are finished and your view will be saved.
Reviewing Existing Views
To review all of your saved views:
Open the Resolve menu in VR and click "Content."
Click the "Views" button.
Click any of the views listed and be transported there.
You will also see a star button next to each view. Clicking the star button will “favorite” that particular view and will automatically take you to that specific view every time you enter the model in future reviews.
To edit a view's name, hover over that particular view in the menu and click "Edit."
To delete a view, hover over that particular view in the menu and click "Delete."
