Collaborating with your team in virtual reality (VR) has never been more immersive! Our Lightning Viewer and VR headset integration make it easy for you to follow along during the review process. This support article will guide you through the steps to log in to the Lightning Viewer, log in to the VR headset, and utilize the "Follow" feature under the participants tab.

Opening Lightning Viewer:

  1. Navigate to the Resolve dashboard and log in if necessary.

  2. In your organization, locate the model you would like to review.

  3. Hover over the model until you see the "Open model in 🌩️ web viewer" message and click on the model name.

To Share your view, open the model in your VR Headset:

  1. Put on your VR headset and power it up.

  2. Navigate to the login screen and enter your credentials to log in.

  3. Make sure Lightning Viewer is open and you are in the same model as the headset user.

Using the "Follow" Feature:

  1. In the Lightning Viewer, locate the "Participants" tab found on the right-hand side of the window.

  2. Under the "Participants" tab, you will see a list of users currently in the VR session.

  3. Identify the user you want to follow and click "follow."

Why Use the "Follow" Feature?

By clicking the "Follow" button, you gain the ability to see the user's Point of View (POV) in real-time. This allows for a more immersive and collaborative experience during the review process. You can follow along with the user's actions, making it easier to provide assistance or feedback.
