You can hide individual objects in your model to focus on specific areas or elements. The steps are slightly different for Lightning Viewer, VR, and the Desktop app.

In VR

There are two ways to hide an object in VR:

Option 1: Quick selection

  1. Point at the object and double-click the right trigger.

  2. Select "Hide Object" in the menu. Or uncheck the box in the BIM hierarchy tree.

Option 2: Using the Inspect Properties panel

  1. Click on Inspect Properties (Click on Content β†’ Inspect Properties on the left-hand controller).

  2. Point at and click the object you want to hide.

  3. Select "Hide Object" in the menu. Or uncheck the box in the BIM hierarchy tree

In The Lightning Viewer

  1. Open the Layers panel.

  2. Click Inspect.

  3. Hover over the object you want to hide and click it.

  4. The object will appear in the BIM hierarchy tree. Uncheck the box next to it to hide it.

In the Desktop App

  1. Click the magnifying glass icon in the bottom-right corner.

  2. Select Inspect Properties.

  3. Click on the object you wish to hide.

  4. Choose Hide Object.
