Tap any object in the model to see what it is or hide it from view. This is useful for getting a piece of equipment, a wall, or ductwork out of the way so you can see what's behind it.
Selecting an object
Tap an object in the model. It turns purple, and a card opens showing:
The object's name and ID number, for example ConveyorLine_E2 [417097]
Hide
Section (see Using Section Cuts in Resolve Field)
To close the card without doing anything, tap the X.
Note: Make sure Measure is off. While it's on, tapping the model places a measurement point instead of selecting an object.
Hiding an object
Tap the object you want to hide.
Tap Hide.
The object disappears. An eye button appears to the left of the minimap, with a number showing how many objects are hidden. Keep tapping to hide as many objects as you need.
Showing hidden objects again
Tap the eye button next to the minimap to see everything you've hidden.
Show one object: Tap its name in the list.
Show everything: Tap Show all.
Tips
Hiding an object only changes your view in Resolve Field. It doesn't change the model or what anyone else sees. Everything you hid comes back when you leave the model and open it again.
To hide a whole category, like all floors or all doors, use Layers instead. See Showing and Hiding Layers in Resolve Field.
