Updated today

We are currently aware of an issue affecting the Resolve iPad Viewer on devices running iPadOS 26.2 or later. On these versions of iPadOS, users may experience instability or be unable to reliably view models.

This issue was introduced following recent platform-level changes and is not related to any configuration or action taken by end users.

Who Is Affected

  • Any iPad running iPadOS 26.2 or newer

  • Users attempting to access models through the Resolve iPad Viewer

What’s Happening

Recent changes at the operating system level have impacted how the iPad Viewer functions. As a result, the app may fail to load models or behave unexpectedly on affected iPadOS versions.

Our team has identified the root cause and is actively working alongside Apple to resolve the issue.

Current Status

  • The issue is known and under active investigation

  • There is no action required from users at this time

Temporary Guidance

If possible, we recommend:

  • Using Resolve on VR or Desktop as an alternative while this issue is being addressed

  • Avoiding updates to iPadOS 26.2 or later on devices that rely on the iPad Viewer for critical workflows

What’s Next

We will continue to monitor progress closely and will share updates as soon as a resolution or workaround becomes available.
