Use the Measure tool to check the distance between any two points in a model.
Taking a measurement
Tap Measure in the top right corner. The button turns white when the tool is on.
Set your first point. Tap directly on the model, or drag the crosshair handle onto the spot you want. Dragging is useful when you need to be precise on small or crowded objects.
Set your second point the same way.
Your measurement appears on the model.
Reading your measurement
Each measurement shows four values:
Yellow: The straight-line distance between your two points.
Red (X): The horizontal distance in one direction.
Green (Y): The horizontal distance in the other direction.
Blue (Z): The vertical distance, or height difference.
This makes it easy to check things like clearance height and side-to-side spacing from a single measurement. All measurements are shown in feet and inches.
Adjusting a point
To move a point after placing it, drag the orange dot to a new spot. It snaps to edges and corners as you drag, so it's easy to land exactly where you want.
Starting a new measurement
With a measurement on screen, tap anywhere on the model to start a new one. When you're done measuring, tap Measure again to turn the tool off.
Tips
You can still use the Move and Look joysticks while measuring, so you can reposition your view between points.
The first time you use Measure, you'll see short tips explaining how it works. Tap the X to dismiss them.
